Bubba engineering at its best! I have replaced the tank with a good locally made copy, and returned the feed and drain holes from the tank to the floor sheet metal below the tank. I thought the manual drawing would help more when I got to this phase, but it is unclear, at best. My best guess is it runs inside the left frame rail, but it gets quite cluttered around the master cylinder, pedals, and steering box! Or does it run outside of the frame rail clamped to the bottom of the tub???Can somebody describe the routing of the steel fuel line to the fuel pump? I understand the last 10" is the flexible hose to the fuel pump. I am in Argentina so buying a kit is not an option. Yes. It is a RPITA to run it past the pedal bracket, brake master cylinder and so forth. But that is how it came from the factory. The original fuel line was still on my 2a. I still haver it but copied it exactly. I did make a slight change to accomodate an in line filter up by the steering gear. Two original clips on the fender to secure. Filter before the pump. Keeping debris from the bottom of the tank is relativly easy due to clear access through the filler neck at the tank. Good Luck. I cut enough of the steel tubing out by the gusset just for MY filter. Make sense? Setelah kemaren kita membahas kampas kopling akternatif untuk yamaha mio agar lebih irit biaya, Kali ini akan membagikan catatan pengalaman perbaikan di motor yamaha mio j YMJET FI yang brebet, susah di hidupkan dan saat di gas malah mati. Seperti biasa, sebelum saya atasi trouble di motor mio j ini terlebih dahulu menanyakan history sebelum terjadi mogok kepada pemilik kendaraan tersebut. Untuk mengatasi trouble sedulur yang bekerja di bengkel juga harus anda biasakan menanyakan history kendaraan, agar kita bisa memperpendek analisa dan lebih mudah menemukan masalah nya. Saat saya tanyakan kepada pemilik ternyata motor mio J YMJET FI ini sudah di service beberapa hari yang lalu, dan juga di lakukan pergantian fuel pump dengan biaya Rp Dan saat di periksa dengan memutar kontak ke posisi ON memang fuel pump bunyi "nging" tanda nya part tersebut berfungsi. Yah wajar saja biaya segitu dengan pergantian fuel pump, yang tidak wajar kenapa ini motor mogok lagi. Ini akan menjadi pekerjaan yang sulit karena saya belum terbiasa dan belum berpengalaman mengatasi trouble di motor Injeksi yamaha. "pikir saya". Ok langsung saja ke Yamaha Mio J yang brebet susah di hidupkan. Untuk pemeriksaan di Motor injeksi biasakan melihat dahulu apakah ada kode kedipan MIL kerusakan di indikator Kode kedipan Mil yamaha YMJET FI. Saat saya periksa ternyata ada kedipan Mil 42 4 kedip lama, dan 2 kedip cepat. Menurut catatan saya kedipan tersebut menunjukkan masalah di sistem penunjuk kecepatan, dan benar saja ternyata penunjuk kecepatan nya tidak berfungsi. Tetapi saya pikir kerusakan tersebut tidak begitu mempengaruhi sistem sampai terjadi mogok. Selanjutnya saya lepas busi dan memastikan adanya percikan api, ternyata memang ada percikan, berarti bisa di simpulkan sistem pengapian aman. Dan sekaligus memastikan bahwa kompresi juga ada dengan menutup lobang busi nya. Langkah berikutnya pelepasan injektor untuk memeriksa apakah bensin nyembur sampai injektor apa tidak nya. Caranya anda lepas baut 10mm di throtle body sialnya baut di motor ini karatan dan macet, alhasil menjadi patah dan arahkan ke kertas kering lalu pejet stater sekali, jika bahan bakar keluar ber arti injektor aman. Yang terjadi di motor ini injektor sudah menyemprotkan bahan bakar tetapi kurang deras, maka saya bongkar saja injektornya. Untuk memisahkan injektor dari throtlle body anda lepas baut 10mm dan congkel klip dengan obeng min kecil pelan-pelan. "Lihat gambar pertama di postingan ini" Setelah terlepas congkel klip kawat yang saya tunjuk panah di gambar kedua. Lalu ambil injektornya dengan memutar-mutar pelan hingga terlepas seperti gambar berikut ini. Mohon maaf gambar 2,3 saya ambil dari google karena lupa mengabadikan nya. Dan benar saja yang saya curigai, di lobang injektor lihat panah di gambar 3 ada banyak kotoran yang menyumpal, agar semua kotoran keluar ketok-ketok saja ke tatakan kayu secara pelan-pelan. Setelah yakin kotoran sudah tidak ada pasang kembali dengan urutan kebalikan nya. Karena baut 10mm di motor mio j ini patah saat di lepas, jadi saya ikat saja dengan tali tis. Munkin kalian akan bertanya kenapa tidak di drat ulang saja? Alasanya. Saat mencoba mengendorkan baut throtle body juga teras macet, dan takut akan sama nasib nya dengan baut yang sudah patah tadi, karena pemilik motor ini terburu-buru akan merepotkan bila harus membongkar buring untuk melakukan drat ulang bukan. Yang penting komunikasikan dengan konsumen agar dia juga tau kondisi juga Yamaha vixio mati saat di tarik Gas. Akhirnya semua sudah terpasang dan hasilnya jreeng, motor nyala dengan mudah dan brebet pun hilang. Jangan lupa test drive agar lebih yakin ya. Cable and Pipe Routing. Getting the correct routing of all the pipework and wiring is a challenge when faced with rebuilding, so this section aims to help the process with some pictures of pre-restoration and some following the work. Original underbonnet – note position of fuel feed pipe. Full Strip down of body in readiness for removing the body. Removal of the heater unit and the Brake/clutch master cylinder allows access to loom and other pipework. Left to right – Clutch pipe, master cylinder to slave cylinder – brake pipe, three-way union to rear brakes – main battery to solenoid cable – fuel pipe, fuel pump to carbs. Fuel pipe from pump to carbs. The lower pipe is the rear brake pipe showing the attachment point on the right-hand battery carrier. Fuel pipe from tank to pump runs outside of chassis and locates to the lower shock absorber mounting bolt. This shows the position of the wiring loom in relation to the fuel pipe, with the spur to the tank sender unit. Of note here is the position of the rear brake flexible pipe from the battery carrier union to the two-way union where the pipes are split left to right, the right-hand pipe looping over the differential. From the rear of the chassis the battery cable and side loom share the same p’ clips mounted on vertical tabs attached to the floorboard rails. the main brake pipe front to rear and the fuel pipe share the parallel route between the floorboard rails and the chassis side clip needs tightening! The retaining clips for the fuel and brake lines are in the form of tabs attached to the outer floorboard rail and are simply bent into position once the lines are in place. Battery lead and loom secured in P’ clips that bolt to tabs welded to the chassis. Three-way union and brake light switch mounted on the chassis to the right and forward of the chassis goal-posts. this is the original one cleaned up. In this shot is the new Wosp hi-torque starter that is a worthwhile upgrade. MGA 1500 Rear axle I added in a battery isolation switch, fitted in-line on the main battery cable. Winter indoor work…marking up the wiring loom. MGA 1500 wiring loom. There are several points in the loom where sub looms are connected by bullet connectors. In every case, I slathered the male and female connectors with electrical silicon grease and then wrapped in black insulation tape. I’m not that bothered how it looks, but don’t want to be faced with problems of poor connection at some later stage. I’ve since revisited connectors that are exposed and replaced tape with heat shrunk insulation. This is particularly important where the rear loom extension joins the main side loom, as this is very exposed to road dirt and water and also the front extensions to the side and head lights. The control box is now only a junction box as I’ve fitted an alternator. The wires into the fuse block were eventually tidied up a bit! The picture below shows the greased and bundled connectors where the side loom splits to the horn wires and side/headlamps. Also shows where the paint didn’t reach! Note the earth lead connected to the elongated wing/fender bolt as was original, also that the fog lamp connector which is unused, is exposed – since insulated with a female bullet connector.
